St Helens and the surrounding area is reknown for beautiful forests and breathtaking beaches. There
are lots of walks for all ages and capabilities. More information on these is available in reception.
Blue Tier: The Blue Tier is a historic mining area. There are several walking tracks, one with
wheelchair access. You will never forget a stroll through this area.
Bicycle/Walking Track: Starting right out the front of Queechy Cottages is a 3km (1 ˝ hour
return) walking/bike track.
Halls Falls: A magnificent 1 hour return walk through open forest to riverine forest and ferns
to the Falls and historic weir.
Humbug Point Reserve: Walking tracks around the coast from Binalong Bay to Moulting Bay. 6 hours
return. There are access points for shorter walks.
St Columbia Falls: These Falls are located near Pyengana. They are Tasmania’s tallest Falls and
definitely worth a look. The walk is a moderate 20 minute walk through rainforest.
